Chambray wasn't something I wore a whole lot of before I started blogging, but I've since realized how much I was missing out! It acts a neutral, pairing nicely with almost anything from skirts and dress pants to different colored denim. Though a few days late to the party, here's some of my favorite chambray looks in a variety of hues for #momstyleremix.
look #1: deep pink pants

chambray: J. Crew Factory (exact) | pants: Loft | sandals: Loft (similar) | bag: Stella and Dot (exact) | necklace: Stella and Dot (exact) watch: Target (similar) | bracelets: Kendra Scott (similar cuff) and Sage K and Co. (designer dupe, designer original)
I love color pants, but I'm not always sure what to wear with them. Solution: throw on a chambray shirt and call it a day! See original post.look #2: orange boyfriend cardigan

chambray: Maurice's (similar) | pants: The Limited (exact style in blue) | cardigan: Loft (similar) | shoes: Payless (similar) | necklace: Baublebar (similar) | watch: Fossil (similar)
Polka dots definitely make any outfit more fun. See original post.
look #3: yellow floral pencil skirt

chambray: Loft (similar regular, similar plus) | sweater: J. Crew Factory (similar) | skirt: Loft (fun alternative) | clutch: Nine West (similar) | shoes: Lands' End via Sierra Trading post (exact) | necklace: Ann Taylor (exact) | ring: Charming Charlie (similar) | watch: Target (similar) | earrings: Baublebar (very similar)
I originally wore this outfit for Brianna's Third Thursday Threads a little over a year ago. I'm still loving the crazy mix of patterns, layers and that little peek of chambray. See original post.
look #4: kelly green pencil skirt

chambray: Loft (similar regular, similar plus) | skirt: J. Crew Factory (exact) | shoes: Lucy Avenue (cute alternative) | necklace: Loft (cute alternative) | watch: Fossil (exact face with a leather band) | bracelets: Bourbon and Boweties (exact pearl, exact aqua) | earrings: Reeds (exact, inexpensive similar)
This is definitely one of my favorite outfits I've worn lately. The color of this skirt is so fun!
look #5: neutral hues

chambray: Loft (similar regular, similar plus) | cardigan: Loft (fun striped alternative) | pants: The Limited (exact) | sandals: Union Bay (cute alternative) | necklace: Kendra Scott (exact) | watch: Fossil (exact face with a leather band) | bracelets: J. Crew Factory (exact pave link) and Bourbon and Boweties (exact pearl) | earrings: Reeds (exact, inexpensive similar)
Some days I like to be all fancy, but most days I just want to wear something cozy. Love how you can dress chambray up or down. See original post.
look #6: purple pleated midi skirt
Chambray all dressed up with a pretty lilac midi skirt and dainty jewels. See original post.
look #7: lilac loafers
A pretty basic outfit, but you can't go wrong with chambray, black pants and a pop of lilac, right?
look #8: white out

I reluctantly embraced the white jeans trend this summer, but now realize they're seriously awesome - how could I have resisted so long?! To avoid the denim on denim look, I stuck with contrasting colors. See original post.
Thanks Anne and Jenn for hosting #momstyleremix! Be sure to check out the other linkups to get an extra dose of chambray-inspiration.

Ooh you show such a good range of colors and of level of dressed up-ness. Clearly such a versatile item...Pairing with a skirt is always a favorite of mine (gotta love the fancy/casual mix), but right now I'm really into the simple black jeans with fab shoes style. Thanks for remixing with us again!
ReplyDeleteThanks lady! I always love participating in this challenge, it's one of my favorites by far!
DeleteI love the way you've paired the denim shirt in every single outfit! I especially love #3 and #1. :)

Thanks so much! I miss that floral mustard skirt from #3, I need to get it altered so I can wear it again. It's perfect for fall!
