It's supposed to be unseasonably warm again this year, so once again packing's a bit of challenge with cool temps at night in the morning, with warm afternoons. So, I decided to go with lots of light layers in a soft color palette.

tops: Mountains are calling tee (exact) | J. Crew stripe shirt (exact) | Loft pink tee (exact) | Loft gray tee (similar) bottoms: American Eagle pink jeans (exact) | American Eagle skinny jeans (exact) | American Eagle navy cords (exact) layering pieces: Loft stripe poncho (exact) | J. Crew Factory dot puffer vest (exact) | Banana Republic cream cardigan (similar) | Old Navy cargo jacket (similar) accessories and shoes: Ann Taylor blush scarf (similar) | J. Crew dot scarf (similar) | Stella & Dot triangle tile tote (cork version) | Society saddle bag (exact) | Sperry stripe sneakers (exact) | Michael Kors moccasins (exact in cognac) | Stella & Dot earrings (exact) | Fossil gold watch (same face with a leather band)
I kinda have a feeling that a lot of these layers won't be necessary, but a girl can dream right? It's funny, looking at the weather it's cool now, it's going to be cool after, but unseasonably warm the whole time we're there. Doesn't mother nature know this Florida girl is desperate to get her scarves and layers on? Oh, well, it'll be fun even if it is a little toastier than normal!
I love your packing posts! And this palette is a big winner - soft and pretty but still manages to be really fall-ish. I'd cozy up in any of these outfits! Hope you had a great trip :)
ReplyDeleteThe trip was really fun - but freakishly warm. It's actually been cooler in Florida than it was while we were up there. Crazy!
