Today I'm showing a different way to wear Wednesday's pink duster cardigan with a loose fit top and pencil pants. This is actually, kind of, an outfit of accidents: I started with the top, then added the cardigan because it matched the stamen in the top, then threw on some pants (because I didn't feel like wearing a skirt) and added the teal shoes...because, well they were one of the few pairs that still fit me.
I'm I the only one who has chub scout feet post-pregnancy? My feet have grown a half size after baby. Same thing happened after I had my daughter, I went up a half shoe size, then about a year later I (finally) lost the baby weight and my foot went back down to my pre-pregnancy size. So I realize my shoes don't exactly match, but I actually ended up kinda of liking how they looked anyway. A happy accident. :)

I love this outfit! And yes, my feet are a 1/2 size bigger. This is the first time it’s happened (baby #3) and it’s the least amount of weight I’ve gained. Ugh, so frustrating!!
ReplyDeleteWell, you're making me feel better. I thought it was because I had gained so much weight, but maybe it's solely a weird pregnancy thing. :)
DeleteI love how this turned out! Such a pretty blouse/cardigan combo, and the teal is such a great complimentary pop of color. Sometimes I get scared of doing multiple colors (perhaps because I'm used to wearing so many neutrals), but I love how it looks when done right :)
ReplyDeleteAnd dang, that's a pain about the shoe size. I guess it could be fun to have an excuse to buy new shoes, but then if they end up going back down to regular size, that's an issue too!
Thankfully I've been able to salvage some of my old shoes (like the ones in this post) by removing the heel insert I had put in to make them more snug. I'm hoping if I ever lose the weight and my feet go back to their old size and can stick inserts into the new shoes to make them fit again.:)
DeleteThis is such a fantastic look. I really like how the teal shoes look with this! I like the soft color of your cardigan and how great it goes with your floral top. Thanks for linking up with Fabulous Friday, Erin!
