currently I am...

planning: a mini kitchen makeover. After moving in almost a year ago, we painted the beige walls Benjamin Moore's Coventry Gray and kind of stalled out after that. The next step is to paint the oak cabinets a pretty, glossy white and replace the hardware and get a new light pendant - maybe something like this vintage style glass pendant light. Distant future plans include to replace the backsplash with something like the picture above - that aqua herringbone pattern is swoon-worthy. I also want to replace the title on the bar with shiplap. The trick, of course, is finding time and money. :)

seeing: all the gorgeous spring blooms. Spring has definitely arrived in North Florida.

making: nothing at the moment, but I really want to be knitting this gorgeous cardigan. I've never made a sweater before, but like the idea of the challenge of it. Knowing me, if I start it now it might just be finished by the time it cools off this fall. I'm obsessed with the pearl colorway...so pretty. ❤️

pretending: my sweet baby boy isn’t growing up so fast! He turned five months on Friday- seriously where has the time gone? He's full of baby chuckles and loves to grab everything - including momma's face and chin. Eskimo kisses are a big hit, as well as patty cake, and just about any song, with "Apples and Bananas" being a fan favorite.

wearing: these J. Crew Factory leopard d'orsay flats on repeat.

  1. Oooh the color palette of your collage just makes me happy right off the bat :) And then that sweet baby! I can't believe he's coming up on 6 months already. Yay for kitchen makeovers too - that tile is so you!

    1. I'm trying to get my husband on board with the herringbone pattern, but since we're going to do it ourselves, we'll probably go with something more traditional. I can't believe he's almost 6 months either, seriously, were does the time go?
