monochromatic

gray cardigan, gray shell, black pencil pants, leopard flats 3

What's black, gray and lacking in color all over? My outfit. And I can't say I'm mad about it. The monochromatic pallet really makes these fun, leopard print d'orsay flats pop. I often treat leopard like a neutral, but in this outfit, it's the star of the show. I could lie and say this was all kinds of planned, but in reality, it was just a happy accident. Isn't it great when things work out that way?

I've been wearing these flats like crazy lately, but have yet to talk about them. And as much as I've enjoyed wearing them, I figured they deserve their own mention. They're pretty comfy and I love the way they look. I found them to a touch bigger than my other J. Crew Factory flats and got a 9 (I've been in a 9.5 postpartum). The back of the heel has stretched out with wear, but it's nothing a heel cushion can't fix. I very rarely wear heels anymore, so I like that these flats with their pointed toe and look a bit more dressy than a ballet flat. I highly recommend them if you're looking for a leopard print shoe! I'm actually half tempted to go ahead and order another pair for when these wear out - which as much as I've been wearing them - will be sooner rather than later.
